Our zoo, the Philadelphia Zoo, cost too much for us to go to anymore. We're beary sad. Now that we've read this story, we're beary, beary, sad! Why can't the Philadelphia Zoo do this for Teddy Bears and their parents, even if their parents are beary, beary, beary, beary, beary old, like ours?!

There are over 300 different animals at Tautphauz Park Zoo, but today it's all about the bears.
Children under 12-years-old got in free today, if they brought along one of their injured teddy bears.
The zoo had a clinic set up, so they could sew on some lost eyes or noses. Teddy Bear Day also had a bear cave, so kids can see for themselves how bears live. A foraging tent was also set up, but instead of looking for berries, little zoo goers get to take home candy and crafts.
Bailey Chambers said, "I went around took pictures of the animals, for a dollar you can make a wooden teddy bear and for free you can also draw a picture."
