We doubled surpriseded our wives and Mommy for Mommy’s Day. Not only did they get breakfast in bed, (made by our kids) and a loverly dinner (hotdogs sautéed with a side of mac and cheese), BUT we also surpriseded them with some gifts – a nice outdoors mantle clock for the garden (so they know if they’re spending too much time out in the sun) AND a wrought iron table painted Antiques White! (For the record, the Garden Gals told us it was “antique white.” We are not the kinda guys that can tell you all the shades of colors like gals can.) The table is to put one of their favorite plants on, to make it stand out in the garden.

Our kids and we got lots and lots of hugs and cuddles! Our kids got big mushy kisses from their mommies and Grandma, too.

It has been a fine day, ‘specially, since it ended with watching our Paddington Bear DVD.

Ever since Teddy made Valentine a video for her burffday, Lady has been sighing and watching it almost as often as Valentine watches. I could tell she was hoping for such a gift from me, but her burffday is the same day as mine (we were born out of the same box for Mommy in mid December.) I wanted to make her one, but it had to be for a special occasion. Today I triple surpriseded her – giving her all we already toldeded about, PLUS giving her a video about us. Guess if I got some extra cuddling for this one.

She also wants me to tell that she wasn’t crying, just rubbing sleep outta her eyes. Now that she has seen it, I’m pretty sure those happy wet spots coming from her eyes weren’t sleep. Let us know whicha think. (Lady loves it, so that’s the importantest part!)
